Being a Plant Technician
As a technician, you’ll work on a team responsible for keeping production flowing, meeting performance goals, and maintaining the high level of quality that consumers expect from our products.

WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO JOIN OUR TEAM?


You must be 18 years of age or older and have a minimum of a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent education.

Our plants operate 24/7 and technicians work 12 hours per day, in various shift rotations including a single straight shift to working two or three rotating shifts. Length of work shifts or the rotation schedule can change from time to time, and additional days could be required to be worked as overtime.

Also, this can be a physically demanding job, so you’ll need to be able to lift 50 pounds by bending and stooping; use stairs, ladders, and platforms; move freely; enter and work in confined spaces; and stand on concrete floors for an extended period of time.

ORAL CARE
We are the sole manufacturer of Crest Pro Heath and Crest Scope mounthwags for all of the United States and Canada. Here at Iowa City Beauty Care, we manufacture various sizes and flavors for Crest products and Fix-o-dent.
HAIR CARE
We are a major manufacturer of shampoo and conditioner for north America. Prell was one of the first products that was manufactured at this site. Now we produce specialized stylers and treatments for Pantene, Head & Shoulders, Native, Herbal Essences, and Aussie
PERSONAL CARE
We are a major manufacturer of bodywash for North America. Our main brands include Olay and Old Spice. We are also a major manufacturer of Safeguard Handwash.

We’re located in a state-of-the-art facility, where P&G engineers and plant technicians work together to design and utilize the latest technology to allow our manufacturing plants to produce the highest quality products at optimum production rates.
