For example, University of Manufacturing is our technician onboarding system which includes 11 weeks of training to better enable new employees to contribute from day 1. Being a Plant Technician
As a technician, you’ll work on a team responsible for keeping production flowing, meeting performance goals, and maintaining the high level of quality that consumers expect from our products.

WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO JOIN OUR TEAM?


You must be 18 years of age or older and have a minimum of a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent education.

Our plants operate 24/7 and technicians work 12 hours per day, in various shift rotations including a single straight shift to working two or three rotating shifts. Length of work shifts or the rotation schedule can change from time to time, and additional days could be required to be worked as overtime.

Also, this can be a physically demanding job, so you’ll need to be able to lift 50 pounds by bending and stooping; use stairs, ladders, and platforms; move freely; enter and work in confined spaces; and stand on concrete floors for an extended period of time.

ORAL CARE
We are the sole manufacturer of Crest toothpaste for all of the United States and Canada. Here at Greensboro Browns Summit, we manufacture various sizes and flavors for Crest products and Fix-o-dent.
SKIN & PERSONAL CARE
All P&G antiperspirants and deodorants for North America are made here at Greensboro Browns Summit. Secret was one of the first brands to be produced in Greensboro when the plant opened in 1982. Secret established itself as the leading women's deodorant brand by mid-1980's. Old Spice production in Greensboro began in 1992. At this time, the sailing ship logo was replaced by a sailboat.
For our Olay Skin Care products, we use over 200 raw materials to manufacture the products that you know and love.

We’re located in a state-of-the-art facility, where P&G engineers and plant technicians work together to design and utilize the latest technology to allow our manufacturing plants to produce the highest quality products at optimum production rates.
