Being a Plant Technician
As a technician, you’ll work on a team responsible for keeping production flowing, meeting performance goals, and maintaining the high level of quality that consumers expect from our products.

WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO JOIN OUR TEAM?


You must be 18 years of age or older and have a minimum of a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent education.

Our plants operate 24/7 and technicians work 12 hours per day, in various shift rotations including a single straight shift to working two or three rotating shifts. Length of work shifts or the rotation schedule can change from time to time, and additional days could be required to be worked as overtime.

Also, this can be a physically demanding job, so you’ll need to be able to lift 50 pounds by bending and stooping; use stairs, ladders, and platforms; move freely; enter and work in confined spaces; and stand on concrete floors for an extended period of time.

The Quicker Picker Upper has helped families clean messes and spills for decades. At the Oxnard plant, we are proud to produce the revolutionizing 2-ply paper towel that is not only soft and strong but that is unmatched in being quick and absorbent on spills, making it an essential household item.
CHARMIN
P&G plant workers stepped up to meet demand for toilet tissues at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. And they could do this with confidence because P&G puts so much emphasis on safety. At P&G Oxnard we produce the toilet paper roll that has been helping people have better, more enjoyable bathroom experiences.

We’re located in a state-of-the-art facility, where P&G engineers and plant technicians work together to design and utilize the latest technology to allow our manufacturing plants to produce the highest quality products at optimum production rates.
