PLANT TECHNICIAN

WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO JOIN OUR TEAM?

You must be 18 years of age or older and have a minimum of a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent education.

Our plants operate 24/7 and technicians work 12 hours per day, in a 2-3-2 rapid rotation schedule. Length of work shifts or the rotation schedule can change from time to time, and additional days could be required to be worked as overtime.

Also, this can be a physically demanding job, so you’ll need to be able to lift 50 pounds by bending ad stooping; use stairs, ladders, and platforms; move freely; enter and work in confined spaces; and stand on concrete floors for an extended period of time.

Brands & Products

Our winning products and leading brands are all about innovation – in many forms, from our technology and tools to our work processes to the change we inspire. No matter your role with us, you’ll be part of something impactful and important that makes a difference.
FAMILY CARE
P&G plant workers stepped up to meet demand for toilet tissue at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. They could do this with confidence because P&G puts so much emphasis on safety. Precautions taken included stretching out shifts to keep workers separated at the plant door, taking employees' temperatures, and compartmentalizing workers to prevent roaming and the potential spread of illness.
BABY CARE
The Mehoopany plant creates thousands of diapers every minute for babies of various ages, sizes, and needs. We make high quality diapers that keep children clean and comfortable while bringing peace of mind to their parents.

Our Facility

We’re located in a state-of-the-art facility where P&G engineers and plant technicians work together to design and utilize the latest technology to allow our manufacturing plants to produce the highest quality products at optimum production rates.
INNOVATION OF FACILITY & MACHINERY
The Mehoopany plant was started as part of P&G’s overall strategy to develop a highly responsive supply network. We have installed leading-edge technology for breakthrough productivity and responsiveness. We have strong digital systems to provide the consumer to supplier instantaneous communication that is so critical to synchronization.

SAFETY
Safety is not just a priority but a value we maintain -- nothing we do is worth anyone getting hurt. We employ a variety of robust procedures, tools and strategies that are enforced by all management levels. All of this guarantees that everyone can feel safe doing their job.
