This is a great opportunity to join as an integral part of the WCMC Vibrant Living Health Center team. The Site Occupational Athletic Trainer (AT) is responsible for work injury rehabilitation, injury prevention, ergonomics, job site evaluations, initial injury evaluations, emergency/first aid medical care, work conditioning, work hardening, functional capacity evaluations, functional job descriptions, return to work/stay at work programs, prevention education programs, health promotion, general wellness and fitness, case management, and counseling.

This role requires the ability to influence and collaborate across multifunctional teams internally and externally. In addition, the AT works effectively with autonomy and as part of a team to drive improvements and deliver business results.

This role has the opportunity to travel for P&G and Professional meetings, trainings, and conferences, and support of relevant professional organizations.


Qualifications

Education, Certification, Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a college or university accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Trainer Education (CAATE).

  • National Association of Athletic Trainers Board of Certification with the credential ATC.

  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience as an Athletic Trainer.

  • AHA or ARC BLS for Healthcare Professional CPR, AED, First Aid Certification preferred.

  • AT practice in an occupational health or clinical setting

  • Delivery of AT services amid diverse population

Knowledge, Abilities, Skills

Proven and demonstrated ability to:

  • practice and collaborate with other health care providers

  • provide sound clinical judgement and decision-making

  • plan, organize, and direct comprehensive AT programs and services related to improving the health and well-being of all employees

  • communicate effectively orally and in writing

  • maintain privacy and confidentiality of patient information in accordance with applicable regulations and P&G standards

  • establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, VLHC staff, colleagues within and across functions, and community contacts

  • manage multiple priorities with the ability to reprioritize and adapt based on critical business needs.

  • possess excellent customer service skills, ability to lead and partner with teams representing diverse interests, and basic project management skills.

Starting Pay:$71K

Compensation for roles at P&G varies depending on a wide array of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, degree/credentials, relevant skill set, and level of relevant experience.
